Lustrous black Spinel xls grown in Calcite. Accompanied by columnar green Diopside xls.These Spinel xls contain a lot of Iron and get a black colour therefor.This Spinel varaiety is called Pleonast.The Spinel xls on this sample have a max. size of about 2 cm.
